I’ve tried about ten times to download the High Sierra Installer from the app store (redirected from link on Apple’s official support page for ‘Creating Installation Media’, since searching for High Sierra installer within app store yields zero results, but that’s a different discussion.), and each time I end up with a 19 mb stub file instead of the full installer. I want to create a bootable usb to clean install my current OS (High Sierra) on a new ssd. App store updates confirms this when I’m logged in to app store. According to system software update, I have no pending updates and am up to date. I’m currently running High Sierra on a mid 2010 macbook.
